The Technical Communication Office (TCO) of SoftServe is an in-house center of excellence dedicated to enhancing user interactions with technology through expert user assistance, technical documentation, educational content, and localized strategies. TCO drives quality and innovation in technical communication, supporting people, projects, and client success, with a specialized COE team focused on delivering both short-term and long-term value across the TechComm expertise.
IF YOU ARE
- A holder of 2+ years of experience in technical writing, content creation, or similar roles, with a proven ability to produce high-quality, user-focused documentation
- Well-versed in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including design system documentation, ensuring content remains accurate and aligned with ongoing project developments
- Skilled in producing clear and concise release notes and newsletters that effectively communicate product updates to diverse audiences
- Unrivalled in translating complex technical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand content tailored to various user groups
- A professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, writing in a consistent tone of voice that aligns with corporate branding and style guidelines
- Highly detail-oriented and proactive, with strong organizational skills and capability of independent task management, work prioritizing, and aligning content strategy with broader business goals
- Confident in working with Visual Studio Code, source control systems, and file formats like HTML and JSON
- Familiar with design and development tools such as Storybook and Figma (as a plus)
AND YOU WANT TO
- Collaborate with the development team to create and maintain release notes, component documentation, and other key content supporting product releases
- Assist in the development of contribution guidelines and content workflows to ensure consistency and scalability across documentation over time
- Continuously improve design system documentation by incorporating user feedback and maintaining a high standard of clarity, usability, and accuracy
- Provide UX writing support to the UX Design team, crafting clear and concise interface copy that enhances the user experience
- Develop and document best practices and contribute to the creation and maintenance of a technical writing style guide
- Review documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with publication standards, and manage them through the established workflow based on client requirements
- Manage and process items in the issues backlog, ensuring timely and effective updates
- Review the documents to ensure their correctness and consistency, and run them through the established publication workflow according to the client's requirements
- Transfer content from Microsoft Word documents into HTML and JSON file formats
