REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 5 years of proven sales experience, with a focus on acquiring new clients in the FMCG/CPG sector
  • Strong “hunter” mentality, with a passion for identifying and capturing new business opportunities
  • In-depth knowledge of the FMCG/CPG industry, including key players, trends, and challenges
  • Established network of contacts within the DACH region and familiarity with its business culture
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets, with real sales results from the past 12 months
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and native-level German proficiency
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
  • Proven record of successful sales with Tier 2 FMCG companies in the region

Nice to have

  • Degree in business, IT, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Image Recognition, Trade Promotion Management, or similar IT products
  • Additional language skills relevant to the DACH region (e.g., Swiss German, French)
  • Experience working with ML/AI-driven solutions for FMCG/CPG companies

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proactively identify, target, and close new business opportunities in the FMCG/CPG sector within the DACH region
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in potential client organizations
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs to present the right solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and solutions are effectively implemented
  • Maintain and generate a pipeline of prospects, with support from Marketing, and achieve or exceed defined sales targets
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to increase market presence
  • Actively search for new opportunities, directly approach Tier 2 customers within the region, and drive the adoption of our ecosystem of solutions
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities and continuously enhance the sales strategy
