Critical Services Center of Excellence (CoE), as a subdivision of SoftServe, is a team of highly professional folks with the primary focus on technology, covering software architecture, startups, and enterprise technologies.

We have a proactive approach while consulting our clients on security management and analyzing the entire infrastructure on multiple layers. In this way, we design an efficient security strategy following the security standards (ISO27k, CIS Benchmarks, NIST, SOC2, HIPAA, PCI DSS, etc.) and considering the client’s short- and long-term goals.

Cybersecurity team members are located in Poland, Ukraine, Spain, and other European countries.

IF YOU ARE

• Experienced in Cloud Security for at least 3 years in dedicated roles, delivering security for cloud-native, distributed architectural solutions in complex environments
• Skilled in defining security standards and reference architectures for at least 2 years of experience, guiding technical teams in secure system implementation and configuration for enterprise cloud systems and public cloud consumption
• Possessing in-depth knowledge of major cloud providers, particularly AWS, with practical experience in Azure and GCP
• Proficient in virtualization technologies, containers, service meshes, and enterprise service bus architectures, with hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless architectures
• Knowledgeable in key differences between cloud provider solutions and orchestration tools (AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Docker) and able to recommend optimal solutions based on project requirements
• Experienced in structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premises-to-cloud migrations
• Skilled in assessment, development, implementation, optimization, troubleshooting, and documentation of a broad range of security technologies and processes (SSDLC, data protection, cryptography, key management, IAM, network security) across SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments
• Adept at identifying, assessing, and driving remediation of risks in public and hybrid cloud environments
• Experienced in designing, implementing, and delivering security for cloud-native, distributed computing, and architectural solutions with a “Secure by Design” approach
• Skilled in performing Threat Modeling and generating security architectural requirements for software development and product teams, focusing on risk-based security measures
• Aware of industry trends in cloud technologies for public, private, and hybrid cloud deployments
• Capable of building strong relationships with key stakeholders and proactively taking initiative
• Exceptional in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to lead and influence virtual teams
• Fluent in English at an upper-intermediate level to work in a multicultural environment
• Certified in technical security as a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) – would be a plus
• Familiar with emerging cloud platforms (is a plus)

AND YOU WANT TO

• Develop Cloud Service Design Patterns and Blueprints for the enterprise
• Create and enhance security solutions to strengthen security offerings
• Lead presales efforts and recommend the best approaches based on client business needs
• Collaborate with AWS Security Partnership initiatives
• Develop patterns for each Cloud Service (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and FaaS) the client subscribes to
• Work on diagrams, schemes, and requisite IaC/PaC components for integration into pipelines, DevOps processes, and CSPM tools
• Ensure solutions are deployed and governed according to defined patterns
• Design technical security measures to protect highly sensitive workloads and applications
• Have occasional business trips
