Technical Program Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will lead cross-functional technical programs within Atlassian's Marketing Planning & Operations organization, driving initiatives from planning through successful delivery. You'll work closely with engineering, data science, product marketing, and business teams to build scalable program frameworks, improve operational processes, and deliver data-driven solutions that support enterprise marketing and customer engagement.

This is a US-based role with an anticipated base salary range of $124,187.00 – $195,151.00 annually.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead complex cross-functional technical programs from initiation through delivery
  • Define project scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and mitigation plans
  • Coordinate engineering, data science, product marketing, and business teams to ensure successful execution
  • Drive program planning and execution across multiple workstreams
  • Build scalable, repeatable program frameworks and operational processes
  • Improve documentation, workflows, and best practices
  • Track program progress and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Support large-scale ecosystem initiatives
  • Use data and analytics to guide business and technical decisions

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of Technical Program or Program Management experience in cross-functional environments
  • Experience managing projects with project tracking and content management tools
  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Experience working with Databricks or similar data platforms
  • SQL proficiency
  • Experience with databases, data products, or enterprise data platforms
  • Experience working in enterprise organizations
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Experience managing changing priorities, dependencies, and blockers
  • Analytical mindset with experience using qualitative and quantitative data for decision-making
  • Experience working across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Experience in a global software company
  • Administrative experience with Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence
  • Experience supporting customer-facing or third-party developer programs
  • Experience collaborating with geographically distributed teams
  • Experience designing process improvements and scalable operational frameworks
