Solution Lead for Corporate AI Tools (Cursor)

About the role

In this role you will shape the vision and real-world impact of SoftServe’s corporate Gen AI product, Cursor, turning business and engineering strategies into a clear solution roadmap for mass adoption. You will act as a trusted advisor and central orchestrator across end users, engineering leaders, security, compliance, platform teams, and vendors, ensuring the AI tooling is not just deployed but delivers measurable value for a large, distributed, highly technical organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own and defend the solution vision and scope for corporate Gen AI tooling across the full lifecycle, ensuring measurable impact on business outcomes and close collaboration with stakeholders, vendors, and internal platform teams
  • Translate company and engineering strategy into a coherent solution and adoption strategy that improves business performance, aligning with in-flight transformation initiatives and existing technology landscape in partnership with business and technology stakeholders
  • Define and document the business case for the Gen AI tooling portfolio, structure KPIs and OKRs that demonstrate value, and collaborate with process owners and user communities to identify and realize business process improvements
  • Identify and propose new Gen AI usage scenarios and capabilities beyond incoming requests, expanding solution impact by engaging stakeholders to validate opportunities and align them with organizational priorities
  • Work with stakeholders to understand needs, priorities, expectations, and success criteria, securing explicit sign-off on solution scope and success measures to reduce ambiguity and delivery risk
  • Act as the user community’s advocate with vendors and internal platform teams, driving product and configuration changes so the Gen AI tooling capabilities match real organizational requirements
  • Communicate clearly and honestly to users what each Gen AI product can and cannot do, setting realistic expectations and supporting responsible, effective use
  • Own practical adoption and day-to-day usage of the Gen AI products across the organization, ensuring that implemented capabilities are actively leveraged and deliver sustained value
  • Identify and validate Gen AI use cases that support real business tasks and workflows, prioritizing those with the highest potential impact and feasibility
  • Track vendor releases and product roadmaps for Gen AI tooling, translate them into simple role-based usage scenarios, assess their potential value, and ensure that value is delivered through clear requirements and implementation outcomes
  • Support the use of Gen AI products for creating and managing custom Gen AI and agentic scenarios when standard functionality is insufficient, coordinating with relevant teams to enable these advanced use cases
  • Ensure sufficient visibility into user activity within the Gen AI products through telemetry and analytics, enabling insights into adoption, usage patterns, and value realization
  • Educate users on effective prompting, best practices, and responsible use of Gen AI tooling, increasing user proficiency and improving quality of outcomes
  • Monitor usage patterns, gather user feedback, and adjust solution scope, configuration, and adoption approaches to continuously improve user experience and business impact

Requirements

  • Strong experience with product management or product ownership, with 2+ years in roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar, ideally focused on developer-facing products (e.g., code generation or code quality solutions) with at least 500 users or GenAI adoption for 200+ users
  • Strong hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar tools, including practical usage in real-world developer workflows
  • Strong track record of driving adoption and increasing usage of existing technical products among engineering teams, focusing on growth rather than greenfield launches
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and everyday developer workflows, enabling formulation of relevant, high-impact AI use cases
  • Basic grasp of large language model (LLM) concepts, including context windows, prompting strategies, agentic workflows, and RAG, sufficient to translate vendor feature releases into clear, role-based usage scenarios for developers
  • Practical experience with product telemetry and analytics, using engagement and usage data to inform adoption strategies and measure impact
  • Practical experience collaborating with engineering teams and technical leads to uncover real needs, define success criteria, and align product capabilities with developer expectations
  • Practical experience conducting product adoption demos tailored to engineering audiences, showcasing concrete workflows and value delivered
  • Strong experience owning the full product lifecycle end-to-end, including discovery, prioritization, rollout, and iteration based on user feedback and measurable outcomes
  • Advanced experience communicating with senior stakeholders at C-1 and C-2 levels, ensuring alignment, managing expectations, and reporting on adoption outcomes
  • Practical experience in managing communications and relationships with external vendors, including understanding roadmaps, negotiating priorities, and coordinating feature rollouts
  • Analytical and value-focused mindset with an approach to validating use cases based on measurable outcomes and user impact, rather than feature availability alone
  • Experience in enterprise environments with governance and compliance requirements for AI tools, including handling constraints and risk mitigation (nice-to-have)
