ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client develops advanced medical devices and software solutions used in blood and plasma collection, transfusion medicine, and diagnostic testing. These products help healthcare professionals improve patient care by providing accurate, reliable, and efficient diagnostic and blood management solutions.
The Middle SDET Engineer role focuses on maintaining and enhancing automated test frameworks and test suites for desktop applications, web interfaces, backend services, and medical device integrations. The position combines Python-based desktop automation with web UI and REST API testing, contributing to the overall quality and reliability of healthcare products.
You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams, participate in automation improvements, validate end-to-end workflows, and help build scalable and maintainable test automation solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and enhance Python-based automated test frameworks using Pytest.
- Develop and maintain automated tests for desktop applications, web interfaces, and REST APIs.
- Validate application functionality, device integrations, and end-to-end system workflows.
- Support improvements in test automation architecture, infrastructure, and test coverage.
- Investigate automation failures, analyze logs, and troubleshoot integration issues.
- Execute system, integration, and verification testing activities.
- Log, verify, track, and report defects and test execution results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and communicate with customer stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of experience in test automation using Python and Pytest.
- Good practical experience with desktop application test automation using Python.
- Experience with desktop automation tools such as Squish, pywinauto, pytest-qt, or similar solutions.
- Proficiency in web UI automation using Playwright.
- Hands-on experience with REST API test automation.
- Strong understanding of object-based UI automation and test framework design principles.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
- Experience working with AWS.
- Knowledge of SQL for test data validation.
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Intermediate+ English level or higher.
