ABOUT THE ROLE
In this position, you will design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions that support high product quality across web, UI, and API layers. Collaborating closely with Software Engineers, QA professionals, and DevOps specialists, you will embed automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and help evolve reliable, maintainable automation frameworks.
At a senior level, you will influence automation architecture, contribute to overall quality strategy, and support team members through mentoring and technical guidance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts for web, UI, and API testing
- Embed automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions
- Build and evolve automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer, or Serenity‑BDD
- Produce clean, modular, and reusable code using Node.js, TypeScript, or Java 17
- Partner with manual QA engineers to transform test scenarios into automated coverage
- Manage test data, configurations, and environment setup
- Run and monitor automated test suites across multiple browsers and platforms
- Prepare and maintain clear, structured test reports using tools like Serenity
- Design reusable framework components and shared automation utilities
- Develop internal libraries for authentication, data generation, and metrics collection
- Drive framework improvements and contribute to automation best practices
- Coach and mentor colleagues on test automation techniques and design principles
REQUIREMENTS
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Puppeteer, BackstopJS, RestAssured, Serenity‑BDD, or Cucumber
- Proficiency in Java (17) and ideally Node.js, or TypeScript
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD tooling, including GitHub Actions, Maven, and NPM
- Familiarity with structured reporting and traceability solutions (e.g., Serenity)
- Solid understanding of test strategy, automation patterns, and framework design
- Background in mentoring or supporting other engineers
- Capability to design and scale reusable automation frameworks
- Clear communication skills and comfort working in multicultural environments
- Confidence working independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams
- Proactive mindset with readiness to seek clarity when needed
- Advanced English proficiency (upper-intermediate or higher), written and spoken
