ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will drive the development of advanced robotics and automation solutions within SoftServe’s Robotics & Advanced Automation Group, contributing to intelligent systems that improve efficiency, precision, and decision-making. You will design and optimize digital twins, control systems, and robotic platforms, collaborating across disciplines to bring simulation-driven concepts into production-ready solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver innovative robotics solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to accelerate automation and business impact
- Drive continuous learning and capability growth by engaging with evolving technologies and structured development paths alongside experts
- Explore and apply emerging technologies with multidisciplinary teams to enhance solution scalability and performance across domains
- Foster a collaborative environment to strengthen teamwork, knowledge sharing, and high-quality solution delivery
- Contribute ideas and implement engineering solutions to improve system performance and enable innovation
- Apply flexible and adaptive work approaches to maintain productivity and solution delivery quality
- Contribute to a positive engineering culture aligned with continuous improvement and professional growth
REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced experience with Python programming and over 5 years of software development
- Strong knowledge of control theory, including MPC, MHE, LQG, Kalman filtering, and decentralized systems
- Advanced experience with mathematical optimization techniques such as NLP, QP, and MILP
- Strong knowledge of modeling techniques for dynamic systems, including first-principle and data-driven approaches
- Advanced experience with numerical methods, concurrent programming, and component-oriented programming
- Proficiency in AWS services, databases (SQLite, PostgreSQL), and Unix (Linux) environments
- Strong experience with testing, CI/CD, build, deployment, and monitoring of complex systems
- Proven ability to solve complex problems with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams and communicate clearly in English
