About the role
In this role, you will design and develop robotics solutions for mobile robots, robotic arms, and drones across diverse industries. You will build both rapid prototypes and production-ready systems, working with real hardware and simulation environments, and contribute to research and integration efforts that push automation and precision to new levels.
This is a US-based remote role with an anticipated base salary range of $88.676 - $139,348.00 annually.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions for diverse robotic platforms, including mobile robots, robotic arms, and drones
- Build production-ready systems and rapid prototypes, covering the full development lifecycle from concept through deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate robots with cloud services and external systems
- Test and validate robotics solutions in both simulation environments and real-world setups
- Implement path planning, obstacle avoidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous robotic systems
- Integrate and process data from multiple sensor types, including LiDAR, ultrasonic, and range sensors
- Research latest trends and modern approaches in robotics — navigation, sensing, and decision-making - and apply findings to active projects
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience with a strong command of C/C++ and Python
- Solid experience developing robotics, navigation, or vision systems using ROS/ROS2
- Strong knowledge of path planning, obstacle avoidance, behavior-based control, estimation, and sensor fusion
- Hands-on experience with diverse sensor systems, including LiDAR, ultrasonic, IMU, and range sensors
- Strong understanding of hardware/software architecture design and ability to implement complex, efficient algorithms
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux systems and cloud services development, preferably AWS
- Solid knowledge of networking, communication protocols, and CI/CD pipelines for complex systems
- Basic experience with AI approaches, such as computer vision or reinforcement learning
