ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will design and deliver advanced robotics solutions used in real industrial and digital environments. You will join the Robotics Operations and Integration team within the SoftServe Robotics Group, working across edge and cloud systems to build scalable, production-ready automation solutions with global impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop software solutions for robotic systems such as mobile robots, robotic arms, and drones, ensuring reliability and performance
- Own end-to-end delivery of robotics features, from prototyping to production, improving system precision and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, cloud specialists, and product stakeholders, to deliver integrated solutions
- Build and validate robotics applications using simulation tools and real-world environments to ensure production readiness
- Integrate robotic systems with cloud platforms to enable scalability, monitoring, and remote operations
- Automate robotic workflows to streamline industrial processes and reduce manual effort
- Explore and apply new robotics technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance solution capabilities
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as planning, estimation, and continuous improvement
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong programming skills in C++ or Python, with hands-on experience using ROS2
- Practical experience with robotics simulation tools such as IsaacSim or Gazebo
- Hands-on experience integrating robotics systems with cloud platforms, such as AWS
- Solid understanding of robotics principles, control systems, and algorithms with 5+ years of commercial experience
- Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance practices for complex systems
- Familiarity with IoT, ARM development, RTOS, PLCs, SCADA systems, or robotics testing as an advantage
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Confident English communication skills in a multicultural and collaborative environment
- Academic background in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
