ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate advanced robotic solutions used across industrial and digital environments. As part of the Robotics Operations and Integration team within the SoftServe Robotics Group, you will work on end-to-end robotics systems spanning edge devices and cloud platforms, contributing to impactful global projects and real-world automation challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop software solutions for diverse robotic systems, including mobile robots, robotic arms, and drones, ensuring reliability and performance
- Own the full lifecycle of robotics features, from prototyping to production-ready implementation, improving system precision and operational efficiency
- Build and validate robotic solutions using simulation tools and real-world environments to ensure production readiness
- Integrate robotic systems with cloud services, enabling scalability, monitoring, and remote operations
- Automate robotic workflows to optimize industrial processes and reduce manual intervention
- Research and apply emerging robotics technologies, tools, and frameworks to evolve technical stacks and solutions
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to planning, estimation, continuous improvement, and transparent delivery
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in robotics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of commercial experience with robotics principles, control systems, and algorithms
- Strong programming skills in C++ or Python and hands-on experience with the ROS2 framework
- Practical experience with robotics simulation tools and environments, such as IsaacSim or Gazebo
- Confidence working with cloud platforms, such as AWS, and integrating robotics systems with cloud services
- Knowledge of software testing and quality assurance methodologies for complex systems
- Familiarity with IoT, ARM development, RTOS, PLCs, SCADA systems, or robotic automation testing is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Skills to communicate effectively in English within a multicultural, collaborative environment
