About the role
In this role, you will be working on a mature pricing analytics solution that helps sales teams evaluate the quality and profitability of commercial deals. By analyzing deal parameters against historical data and pricing rules, the platform provides dynamic scoring and recommendations that support better pricing decisions and increase the probability of successful deal closure.
Responsibilities
- Develop features using Python, FastAPI, and other modern backend technologies, as well as work with frontend part using React
- Solve challenging problems by designing scalable and efficient solutions having the impact on the business requirements and communicating closely with product owners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deal configuration and pricing processes
- Optimize and maintain PostgreSQL databases for high-performance and reliability
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline for faster and reliable delivery
- Engage in code reviews and technical discussions
Requirements
- Proficient in Python - strong understanding of concurrency, parallelism, wrappers, decorators and context managers, iterators and generators, Big O evaluation, abstract classes and protocols, RestAPI principles, authorisation and authentication
- Familiarity with core data structures (experience working with or recursively traversing trees and graphs is highly desirable but not required)
- FastAPI/Starlette hands-on experience is a must, Flask knowledge would be a good extra
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL is a best match), and SQLAlchemy for DB Python-RDBMS interaction
- Strong proficiency in Agentic Coding best practices, including writing comprehensive prompts, defining custom rules/hooks, and rapidly iterating on agent output while maintaining high code quality.
- Hands-on experience with custom MCP server configuration and agentic workflows is a definite plus
- Proficient with source/version control via Git (Github/Gitlab)
- Aware of CI/CD best practices (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/CD)
- Experienced with Docker and understanding of containerisation principles
- Experience in Azure (AWS, GCC) would be a plus
