ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will lead the final phase of a large-scale billing platform migration, driving production readiness and successful cutover. You will operate at the intersection of business and technology, coordinating multiple teams through validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and stabilization. The focus is on ensuring a structured, gated transition with minimal risk and strong operational outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive end-to-end ownership of cutover and production readiness planning, ensuring a structured and controlled transition to the new billing platform
- Lead coordination across engineering, QA, business, and external stakeholders to align timelines, dependencies, and deliverables
- Ensure delivery impact by tracking risks, issues, actions, and key decisions, proactively mitigating blockers and maintaining project momentum
- Facilitate governance routines including status reporting, steering updates, escalation handling, and go or no-go decision meetings
- Coordinate UAT activities, billing validation processes, invoice accuracy checks, and ensure business approvals are completed on time
- Define and validate rollback, contingency, and hypercare plans to ensure operational continuity during and after cutover
- Support stabilization phase and oversee the decommissioning of the legacy Boomi platform in alignment with compliance standards
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and audit-ready project artifacts, ensuring transparency and traceability throughout delivery
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience in project or program management within complex technology delivery environments
- Hands-on experience with system migrations, production cutovers, UAT processes, and hypercare phases
- Understanding of data validation processes, billing systems, or revenue-impacting platforms (strongly preferred)
- Experience working with integration platforms such as Boomi or in legacy system decommissioning contexts (as a plus)
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to engage senior business and technical leaders
- Excellent coordination, documentation, and governance capabilities across cross-functional teams
- Skill in identifying risks, escalating issues, challenging gaps, and ensuring accountability
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with a structured and detail-oriented mindset
- Readiness to work with partial overlap to US Eastern Time and potential business travel
