About the role
In this role, you will lead the delivery of a complex fixed-price initiative focused on Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Digital Twin technologies within the Energy and Utilities domain. You will partner with one of the world's leading electrical hardware manufacturers, helping build a next-generation data platform that enables AI-driven insights and digital twin capabilities. As a trusted client partner, you will drive delivery, proactively remove obstacles, and ensure successful project outcomes in a globally distributed environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of fixed-price projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives
- Develop and maintain project plans, delivery roadmaps, resource forecasts, and milestone tracking across multiple workstreams
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders
- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain project momentum
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and facilitate effective communication at all organizational levels
- Support the client by taking ownership of project-related activities and responsibilities when required to accelerate delivery and reduce operational overhead
- Manage scope changes, expectations, and delivery commitments in a structured and transparent manner
- Facilitate status reporting, steering committee meetings, and regular stakeholder updates
- Drive continuous improvement of delivery processes, collaboration practices, and project governance
- Apply Agile, hybrid, or traditional delivery methodologies according to project and client needs
Requirements
- Proven experience managing fixed-price technology projects with responsibility for scope, budget, timeline, and delivery outcomes
- Experience delivering projects in at least one of the following domains: Data Engineering, Data Platforms, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Digital Twins, or IoT
- Strong project planning skills, including roadmap development, resource planning, dependency management, and long-term delivery forecasting
- Experience working on technically complex projects involving multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders
- Skilled in proactively engaging with clients, navigating challenging situations, and building long-term trusted relationships
- Experience managing risks, change requests, and stakeholder expectations in dynamic delivery environments
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and ability to adapt delivery approaches based on project context
- Proficiency in working effectively with globally distributed teams and stakeholders across European and North American time zones
- Strong communication, negotiation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency for daily communication with international stakeholders
