ABOUT THE ROLE
Join SoftServe’s PM Practice (CoE), a team of senior project leaders engaged in the company’s most complex and strategically important initiatives. In this role, you will lead large-scale, high-accountability engagements, shape governance and delivery strategies, strengthen executive client relationships, and ensure business outcomes remain aligned with client objectives across multiple teams, stakeholders, and delivery models.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead complex engagements throughout the full lifecycle, from pre-sale and initiation to execution, monitoring, closure, and lessons learned activities
- Own delivery outcomes for fixed-price, outcome-based, and other high-accountability projects, ensuring business value realization and delivery excellence
- Collaborate closely with client executives, internal leadership, delivery teams, and account stakeholders to align priorities, decisions, and expectations
- Define and manage engagement governance, including scope baselining, change control, reporting structures, escalation paths, and communication frameworks
- Establish delivery methodologies, SDLC strategies, and AI-assisted delivery practices tailored to project context and business goals
- Drive risk management, performance measurement, and operational improvement through effective metrics frameworks and proactive mitigation plans
- Manage engagement financials, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, profitability, and margin performance across large-scale programs
- Lead staffing and resource strategies, support account growth initiatives, and identify opportunities for engagement expansion and long-term partnership development
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of project management experience across multiple project types, engagement models, and business domains
- Proven track record delivering fixed-price or outcome-based engagements with total contract value exceeding USD 2M and involving multiple teams or delivery models
- Experience leading large-scale engagements with teams of 30+ FTE
- Strong expertise in scope management, change control, governance, risk management, financial planning, and delivery performance management
- Solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle and practical experience applying AI-assisted or agentic delivery approaches
- Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint
- Upper-Intermediate Strong English level or higher for effective communication with global stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple engagements, priorities, and delivery stages simultaneously
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills in multicultural and distributed environments
