Senior Project Manager
LOCATION:
12800 University Drive, Suite 410, Fort Myers, FL 33907 (Position based out of and reports to Fort Myers office: May WFH 100% remotely and telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.)
DUTIES:
Responsible for driving project success by applying project management skills and frameworks, as well as company and industry best practices. Ensure clear understanding and alignment among stakeholders on project objectives, driven by contract commitments and client expectations. Provide transparency within the company and to the client on project status. Identify risks of deviations from the plan and manage risks to reduce the probability and impact. Responsible for strategic planning and overseeing large and complex projects, including tailoring and implementing project processes. Provide advanced leadership to diverse teams, engaging stakeholders effectively, and managing large teams of full-time employees, demonstrating the ability to handle substantial projects and navigate intricate challenges. Collaborate closely with executive leadership to ensure that projects align with the company's strategic vision.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field plus four (4) years of experience in a related occupation within the IT industry utilizing project management tools including Jira, Asana, Workday; managing timelines, budgets, and cross-functional resources for complex software development projects; applying predictive (Waterfall) and adaptive (Agile/Scrum) methodologies to drive project delivery; and executing all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, system design, integration, testing, deployment, and post-deployment support.
