ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will shape the user experience direction for a healthcare technology platform used by leading med spas, dermatology clinics, plastic surgery, and ophthalmology practices. Working closely with Technical Leads, Developers, and Product Managers, you will explore ambiguous challenges through discovery, validate hypotheses with stakeholders, and turn them into intuitive, enterprise-grade design solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage in early-stage product discovery, formulate hypotheses, and collaborate with stakeholders to validate direction before requirements are fully defined
- Design complete user experiences, covering user journeys, interaction flows, validation rules, permissions, business rules, edge cases, and error handling
- Collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers throughout the product development lifecycle
- Balance business goals, usability, and technical constraints when making design decisions, adapting solutions based on engineering feedback
- Present and defend design decisions, explain trade-offs, and facilitate design discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to and evolve the established Design System to maintain consistency across the product
- Participate in Agile ceremonies within cross-functional Scrum teams, delivering iteratively across two-week sprints
- Partner directly with US-based stakeholders and the client's Design team through regular design reviews
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Senior UX/UI designer, with 5+ years delivering complex web and enterprise products end-to-end
- Strong visual design skills, backed by a portfolio that shows range, craft, and creativity
- Solid experience building and implementing Design Systems across multiple products
- Advanced proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity UI design, and component-based workflows
- Practical experience with product discovery and collaborative problem-solving; conducting user research and usability testing
- Up-to-date knowledge of design trends, techniques, and best practices
- Comfortable working with incomplete or evolving requirements, turning ambiguity into structured design solutions
- Confident communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in driving discussions and clearly explaining design decisions rather than waiting for detailed requirements
- Familiar with Agile ways of working and collaborating within cross-functional Scrum teams
- Upper-intermediate or higher English level, with confidence presenting ideas and discussing solutions with international stakeholders
- Experience using AI-powered and generative UI tools (Figma Make, Claude via MCP, etc.) to accelerate research, ideation, and design exploration
- Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
- Experience designing Healthcare, SaaS, or other regulated-industry products (as a win)
