ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will help ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of large-scale distributed systems under high traffic conditions. You will work with performance testing, bottleneck analysis, and continuous validation to support stable, reliable user experiences at scale.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Validate of UDP throughput, latency, jitter, and packet-loss behavior across AWS and GCP at millions of packets per second
- Develop and maintain of load profiles for Kafka streams, REST APIs, and data pipeline read/write paths
- Execute stress, soak, spike, and capacity testing to confirm scaling limits and autoscaling behavior
- Confirm performance dashboards and alerting configurations across both clouds to ensure comparable evidence
- Analyze of bottlenecks across network, compute, storage, and database layers using observability data
- Integrate performance test scenarios into CI/CD pipelines for early regression detection
- Produce benchmarks and evidence reports to support migration acceptance
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in performance and load testing for backend, distributed, and streaming systems
- Strong expertise in UDP performance testing, including high-rate packet generation, packet-loss analysis, latency measurement, and jitter analysis
- Proficiency in TRex (or equivalent tools) for high-rate UDP traffic generation
- Advanced knowledge of Locust for load testing implementation and execution
- Hands-on experience in network-level analysis, including packet capture, tcpdump usage, and protocol-aware profiling
- Proven expertise in high-throughput Kafka performance testing
- Strong understanding of stress, soak, spike, and capacity-planning test design, including p50/p95/p99 performance reporting
- Experience with observability platforms such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Grafana
- Proficiency in SQL and database read/write path profiling under heavy load conditions
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, and cloud migration benchmarking practices
- Experience integrating performance testing into Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to maintain daily communication with English-speaking client-side software engineering teams
