ABOUT THE ROLE
Join SoftServe’s Healthcare & Life Sciences Center of Excellence and help healthcare organizations accelerate digital transformation through modern cloud, data, and technology solutions. In this role, you will bridge business and technology, working closely with clients, consultants, architects, and engineering teams to improve healthcare operations, define solution strategies, and deliver measurable business outcomes across healthcare, life sciences, medtech, and healthtech environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead discovery activities and operational assessments within healthcare organizations, identifying inefficiencies, business constraints, and opportunities for improvement through process analysis and workflow evaluation
- Drive operational excellence by uncovering root causes of performance gaps and recommending data-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve service delivery outcomes
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, architects, product owners, and delivery teams to align solution capabilities with healthcare workflows, regulatory requirements, and business goals
- Analyze and document current-state and future-state business processes using BPMN, workflow analysis techniques, and business architecture methodologies
- Define, manage, and refine business requirements, functional capabilities, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Participate in solution design workshops, providing healthcare domain expertise and operational insights that support architectural and product decisions
- Validate solutions against healthcare standards and regulations, including HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, and other relevant compliance frameworks
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement through workshops, discovery sessions, solution reviews, and ongoing collaboration while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and account growth
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of professional experience, including at least 2 years focused on business analysis within complex digital or enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and requirements lifecycle management practices
- Hands-on experience with requirements elicitation, documentation, prioritization, validation, change management, and business process analysis
- Practical experience with BPMN modeling, workflow analysis, use case development, functional decomposition, and requirements management tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, business processes, and industry challenges
- Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulations such as HL7, FHIR, HIPAA, GDPR, and GxP is a plus
- Familiarity with connected-device, IoT, remote-service platforms, or cloud technologies such as AWS is an advantage
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency and the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments
- Proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented, and committed to identifying opportunities for process and business improvement
