ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will join a new engagement to redesign a key analytics tool for a global real estate services leader. You will contribute to building scalable backend services, enhancing data-driven experiences, and collaborating with distributed teams across the US, EMEA, and India. This role offers strong ownership and the opportunity to influence architecture and product quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop backend services in Go, delivering scalable and reliable features that improve analytics capabilities
- Own implementation outcomes, ensuring high code quality, performance, and stability of data storage, dashboards, and widgets
- Collaborate closely with customer stakeholders, product managers, and distributed engineering teams to align on requirements and deliver value
- Integrate third-party services such as Mapbox into the client web application to extend functionality and user experience
- Participate in architectural discussions, contributing technical expertise and proposing efficient, maintainable solutions
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code, following best engineering practices and standards
- Support Agile processes, planning and managing tasks per sprint and release while driving continuous improvement
- Mentor team members through knowledge sharing and hands-on guidance to strengthen team capabilities
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong proficiency in Go and experience building backend systems
- Practical experience integrating third-party services such as Mapbox, Snowflake
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud
- Solid understanding of SQL databases, experience optimizing database performance, including the use of query caching mechanisms
- Experience using Jira or similar tools for task management
- Ability to manage own work effectively within Agile teams and deliver consistently
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Team-oriented approach with a focus on ownership and continuous improvement
- Effective communication skills in English for collaboration in a multicultural environment
- Familiarity with Angular and Material UI (as a plus)
