ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will drive automation, reliability, and operational excellence across cloud infrastructure and applications. You will take ownership of infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD optimization, security, and production operations while partnering closely with engineering teams and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure, automation frameworks, and DevOps processes that improve system reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency in collaboration with software engineers and technical teams
- Drive infrastructure automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code, scripting, and modern DevOps practices to accelerate delivery, reduce manual effort, and enable consistent environments
- Partner with engineering, operations, and project stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient, and efficient deployment pipelines and cloud-native solutions
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, autoscaling capabilities, and secret management solutions to support secure and seamless application delivery
- Develop complex automation scripts and participate in code reviews to improve infrastructure operations, deployment processes, and system maintenance activities
- Configure load balancing, traffic routing, access controls, permissions management, and web application protection mechanisms to ensure security, compliance, and high availability
- Monitor platforms, troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and resolve complex issues across distributed systems throughout the service lifecycle
- Analyze technical requirements, estimate implementation efforts, validate solutions, and ensure secure customer data management practices aligned with privacy regulations, contractual obligations, and company standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, or 4+ years of equivalent professional experience
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD implementation, cloud infrastructure automation, containerized environments, autoscaling mechanisms, and secret management solutions
- Strong expertise in Bash, Python, and PowerShell scripting, including developing complex automation scripts and participating in code reviews
- Experience configuring load balancing, traffic distribution, identity and access management, permissions models, and web application security controls
- Proven skills to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex production issues within cloud and distributed environments
- Knowledge of secure customer data management practices, including data handling, storage, retention, deletion, privacy, and security compliance requirements
- Experience working with cloud platforms and exposure to multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform is considered an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate solutions, estimate effort, prioritize work, and deliver according to agreed timelines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, a proactive ownership mindset, and commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
