ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will design, scale, and optimize cloud-based infrastructure while collaborating with a distributed LATAM DevOps team supporting global clients. You will drive reliability, automation, and performance across production workloads, contributing to high-impact enterprise systems and modern cloud-native solutions. Your work will enhance platform stability and enable continuous delivery in complex hybrid environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure with engineers and architects to improve system reliability and support production workloads
- Implement monitoring and alerting processes with cross-functional teams to accelerate issue detection and enhance platform performance
- Manage Kubernetes environments with development teams to ensure stable application deployments and reduce operational risks
- Build and enhance infrastructure automation using Terraform and configuration tools to increase consistency and deployment efficiency
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using modern tools to streamline testing and delivery processes across environments
- Integrate cloud and on-premises infrastructure to enable hybrid solutions and improve operational flexibility
- Apply DevOps and DevSecOps practices to strengthen system security and optimize operational workflows
- Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve complex issues and drive continuous platform improvement
REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management and application deployment using Helm
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking protocols, and command-line troubleshooting
- Proven ability to build CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for scalable system provisioning
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure services, including IAM, VPC, compute, and network security
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Salt, Chef, or Puppet
- Proficient scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell for automation
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and proactive mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and adapt to new technologies
