About the role
In this role, you'll build a greenfield Azure landing zone for a regulated financial services client, working hands-on alongside our team. You'll write the Terraform for network, identity, and governance, and help make the foundation that every other team relies on solid, private, and repeatable. As it lands, you'll help extend it into observability, recovery, and onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions
- Configure Azure networking, identity, and security services
- Support cloud adoption, migration, and platform engineering initiatives
- Improve platform reliability, monitoring, and operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize cloud environments
- Collaborate with architects, Tech Leads, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud, DevOps, or Platform Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms
- Knowledge of Azure networking and cloud security fundamentals
- Experience with containerized workloads and Kubernetes (AKS is a plus)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Experience with Azure Landing Zones and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF), Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, Key Vault, and Private Link, Hub-and-spoke networking architecture (nice to have)
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights (nice to have)
- Strong in GitOps and DevSecOps practices (nice to have)
