About the role
In this role, you will lead complex, multi-stream programs for global clients across various industries, ensuring strategic alignment, delivery excellence, and high customer satisfaction within our team in Germany.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, delivery, and client stakeholders, driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives. This role is critical in building long-term client relationships and supporting SoftServe’s growth in the German market. You will operate in an international environment and contribute to both delivery excellence and business development.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and quality objectives are met
- Manage and align multiple projects within the program with business goals and client expectations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Drive program governance, risk management, and mitigation strategies
- Ensure clear and effective communication across all teams and stakeholder levels
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time zones
- Monitor program performance and provide regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiency
- Support pre-sales activities, including proposal development and client presentations
- Mentor and guide project managers and delivery teams
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in program or project management within IT or digital services
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, complex programs in a global environment
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in managing risks, dependencies, and competing priorities effectively
- Strong experience in client-facing roles with a focus on delivery excellence
- Fluent German and strong English proficiency
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification is a plus
