ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will develop and enhance networking and data plane features for a cloud-based platform, including routing, secure connectivity, cloud integrations, and operational tooling support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain C-based VPP plugins for networking data plane features
- Implement and validate secure backbone connectivity and granular Layer 4 traffic management protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with AWS endpoints
- Deliver data plane hooks to enable live tooling and monitoring capabilities
- Troubleshoot and optimize data plane performance in Linux environments
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong experience with C programming, with at least 3 years of experience
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, IPSec, and BGP
- Familiarity with Linux internals and DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit)
- Experience with network data plane development and debugging
- Intermediate Strong or higher English level for daily communication with international clients and teams
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Readiness to dive deep and work with Vector Packet Processing (VPP) plugin development
