About the role
In this role, you will join a worldwide leader in IT that delivers innovative software-defined networking, cloud, and security solutions to help transform businesses and empower an inclusive future for all. You will contribute to a comprehensive visibility and network traffic security analytics solution that leverages enterprise telemetry from existing network infrastructure. The product provides advanced threat detection, accelerated threat response, and simplified network segmentation using multilayer machine learning and entity modeling, helping customers gain full visibility into their network activity.
Responsibilities
- Plan, estimate, and execute performance testing activities, including load and soak testing, to validate system scalability, stability, and reliability
- Contribute to the Performance Test Results Reporting System, ensuring accurate reporting, analysis, and visibility of performance testing outcomes
- Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers on the customer side to align testing activities with product goals and performance requirements
- Prepare, configure, and maintain test environments required for functional and performance validation
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation solutions to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and quality
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and document defects with a high level of detail
- Validate product behavior across networking and infrastructure components using relevant tools and technologies
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing testing practices and overall product quality
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in test automation, including developing and maintaining automated test solutions using Python
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, API testing, and Git
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including the TCP/IP stack and common network protocols
- Knowledge of networking tools such as Wireshark and tcpdump
- Good Linux knowledge with confidence working from the command line and basic Bash scripting skills
- Understanding of virtualization environments and experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins
- Experience with test automation approaches and best practices, as well as a basic understanding of performance testing, including load and soak testing
- Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban, and experience working with Jira and Confluence
- Experience with containerizing applications using Docker to create robust testing environments would be a plus
- Experience with log aggregation and visualization tools such as Elastic/Kibana and Prometheus/Grafana would be a plus
- Experience in network administration would be a plus
- Intermediate Strong English level or higher
