ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will join our growing SoftServe team and collaborate with a client in the government administration industry. The client is an intergovernmental organization that enables inventors to seek patent protection across multiple European countries and plays a leading role in developing an effective global patent system. You will contribute to digital transformation initiatives, resilient infrastructure development, and innovative solutions across data analytics, web, mobile, and integration platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and services, ensuring high quality, performance, and reliability
- Develop and maintain microservices while optimizing application availability, scalability, and accuracy
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and build custom applications that address business needs
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and engineering standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production environments to ensure system stability and operational excellence
- Create and optimize prompts and prompt chains to enhance application pipelines and support content creation use cases
- Work with Customer Success stakeholders and engineering teams to scope, design, and deliver effective solutions
- Conduct testing, debugging, and documentation activities while sharing knowledge and innovative approaches across the team
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven commercial experience with Python development
- Experience working with cloud platforms
- Proficiency with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and experience using ORM tools
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional and distributed team environment
