ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will play a key part in designing and delivering next-generation digital twin and industrial metaverse solutions using the NVIDIA Omniverse Platform. As part of SoftServe’s Emerging Technologies and CTO & Delivery organizations, you will operate at the intersection of applied research, real-time 3D simulation, and enterprise-scale delivery, shaping technical direction and solution quality for global clients.
You will contribute to building powerful multi-GPU, real-time collaboration and simulation platforms that serve as hubs for 3D ecosystem vendors, enabling new capabilities through microservice-based architectures. Your work will help bring complex industrial systems and futuristic concepts to life.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement advanced digital twin, simulation, and real-time 3D solutions using the NVIDIA Omniverse Platform
- Drive end-to-end ownership of solution design, from requirements discovery through architectural analysis and implementation planning
- Lead technical decision-making across real-time graphics, simulation engines, and distributed architectures
- Develop and optimize scalable 3D and simulation systems, ensuring performance, accuracy, and production readiness
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML, Robotics, IoT, GenAI, AR/VR, and R&D specialists
- Provide technical leadership to project teams through architecture reviews, code reviews, and best-practice guidance
- Anticipate, identify, and mitigate technical risks throughout the solution lifecycle
- Conduct research, feasibility studies, and proof-of-concept development for emerging technologies and trends
- Present technical concepts, architectures, and results to internal stakeholders and external clients
- Support pre-sales activities, workshops, and technical presentations for business development initiatives
- Participate in and lead knowledge-sharing activities, including conferences, meetups, and industry events
- Mentor team members and contribute to the growth of SoftServe’s Omniverse and digital twin engineering community
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse or digital twin platforms such as Bentley Systems, Siemens Tecnomatix, or Esri
- Advanced programming skills in Python (7+ years) and/or C++ (Unreal Engine, Godot) or C# (Unity)
- Solid background in computer graphics, including Pixar USD, MDL, rendering pipelines, performance optimization, and 3D toolchains
- Experience working with CAD, BIM, AEC, or geospatial data
- Knowledge of fundamental animation techniques and simulation approaches
- Experience in one or more related areas: Big Data, IoT, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Generative AI
- Proficiency in designing or working with 3D applications, simulation systems, or optimization platforms
- Familiarity with game engine architectures (Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot) and R&D or experimental environments
- Experience or interest in advanced technologies such as PhysX, CUDA, HPC, Isaac Sim, Drive Sim, or synthetic data generation (nice to have)
- Experience with discrete event simulation tools (SimPy, AnyLogic, FlexSim, MATLAB, or similar) is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills, including technical presentations, workshops, and stakeholder engagement
- Comfortable working proficiency in English within a global, multicultural environment
