ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will contribute to designing and implementing modern data platforms based on Microsoft Fabric and Azure technologies. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders, support architecture discussions, and guide engineering teams in delivering scalable and reliable data solutions. You will participate throughout the entire project lifecycle, helping organizations modernize their data ecosystems and unlock business value from data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop scalable data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Azure services
- Build and maintain batch and streaming data pipelines to support analytics and business reporting needs
- Design and implement data models, data integration processes, and Lakehouse architectures
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions
- Participate in architecture discussions, evaluate technical options, and contribute to solution design decisions
- Support engineering teams by providing technical guidance and promoting best practices in data engineering
- Work with Azure services and Microsoft Fabric components, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake, and Real-Time Analytics
- Optimize data processing performance, reliability, and scalability across data platforms
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, continuous improvement initiatives, and engineering excellence within the team
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and its core components, including Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, OneLake, and Analytics workloads
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL
- Experience designing data models and building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
- Strong understanding of Azure data services, including Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure DevOps
- Experience designing and supporting batch and streaming data processing solutions
- Knowledge of database and data warehouse design best practices
- Ability to evaluate technical alternatives, conduct trade-off analysis, and recommend suitable solutions
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders and supporting engineering teams in delivering data solutions
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
