About the Role
Join our internal engineering team as a Junior Strong/Intermediate QC and contribute to the development and maintenance of tools that support the company's internal operations. This is a web-based platform used across multiple departments, with active integrations to other internal systems and services. You'll work closely with developers, product owners, and teams across the organization to ensure the quality, stability, and usability of tools that employees rely on daily. The team is based in Ukraine and follows a collaborative, agile way of working.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for web applications
- Perform manual testing across functional, regression, integration, and UI test scenarios
- Test integrations between the internal platform and other internal systems/teams to ensure data consistency and reliable workflows
- Identify, document, and track defects; work with developers to reproduce, prioritize, and verify fixes
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide QA input during the planning/design stage to catch issues early
- Contribute to test documentation and QA process improvements
- Help maintain and improve test coverage as the platform evolves
- Participate in release testing and support smooth, low-risk deployments
Requirements
- Experience in manual QA testing of web applications (1.5+ years)
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test case design, and defect lifecycle management
- Experience testing integrations between systems/services (API testing exposure is a plus)
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
- Basic understanding of client-server architecture, HTTP, and how web applications work
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Good communication skills — comfortable working with developers and stakeholders from different teams
- English level sufficient for daily written and verbal communication
- Nice to have: basic SQL skills for data validation
