About the role
In this role, you will play a key part in designing and scaling modern Order Management solutions for a global leader – helping deliver smooth, end-to-end customer journeys across channels and markets while working on systems that truly make a difference at scale. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an international environment, gaining exposure to complex projects and opportunities to continuously grow your skills.
Responsibilities
- Architect and modernize enterprise OMS solutions for global retail organizations
- Lead client workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution alignment discussions
- Drive architecture decisions across order lifecycle management and fulfillment orchestration
- Collaborate with cross-functional commerce, integration, and cloud engineering teams
- Support presales activities, solution estimations, and technical proposal preparation
- Contribute to enterprise commerce transformation initiatives with measurable business impact
- Act as a trusted advisor in a client-facing role combining architecture, consulting, and delivery leadership
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS
- Experience with IBM Sterling OMS architecture, implementation, and retail commerce ecosystems is essential
- Good understanding of the OMS ecosystem, including inventory, fulfillment, order orchestration, returns, and customer service processes
- Experience working in enterprise retail and omnichannel commerce environments
- Knowledge of integrations with eCommerce, ERP, CRM, WMS, and payment platforms
- Understanding of solution design, APIs, integrations, and distributed architectures
- Openness to work directly with enterprise clients and executive stakeholders
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and client-facing consulting projects
- Strong communication skills and a professional level of English
- German language skills (would be a strong advantage)
