Database Marketing & Martech Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Marketing Database & MarTech Lead, you will take ownership of maintaining, building, and automating marketing data foundation that powers how SoftServe finds, engages, and converts the right people. You will collaborate closely with CRM, Sales Ops, Analytics, IT teams, and beyond to make sure data actually works for the business and doesn’t just sit in a system looking pretty.

You will join the Global Marketing Digital & MarTech Center of Excellence, responsible for the digital customer journey and the tech stack behind it. We're split into focused units by function, so you will get guidance from the right specialists and won’t be expected to wear five different hats.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with large and varied data sets from multiple data sources of a B2B flavor (so we're talking lists, companies, contacts, and other usual CRM objects)
  • Lead marketing database operations: own how contact data is collected, enriched, and operationalized, set the rules for list management and automation workflows, and drive the quality standards your team executes against
  • Own HubSpot end-to-end: campaigns, workflows, lead scoring, segmentation, Sales Hub, and everything in between — you'll be the go-to person here
  • Represent marketing in integrations with other corporate tools, including data sync integrity, field mapping, and lifecycle alignment
  • Help govern processes across a broader MarTech ecosystem (ZoomInfo, Influ2, and more) even when you don't own the tool outright
  • Drive lead lifecycle operations: MQL scoring, routing logic, nurturing workflows, and alignment between Marketing and Sales/Partnerships
  • Build shared knowledge that doesn't live only in your head
  • Identify, test, and implement AI opportunities across your toolset

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ solid years in marketing databases, CRM ecosystems (such as HubSpot, Dynamics, Marketo, Salesforce, Pardot, Eloqua, or similar), and lead lifecycle management in B2B — contacts, companies, scoring, qualification, routing, the full picture
  • Proven track record in data quality, cleansing, segmentation, workflow automation, and integrations — with genuine ownership of keeping things clean and connected
  • Demonstrated ability to sit at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, translating business needs into automation logic, attribution models, and governance processes that actually hold up
  • Hands-on experience or curiosity about AI and a track record of finding where it can genuinely improve the processes you own, including where no one's tried yet
  • Upper-Intermediate+ English with confidence navigating cross-functional conversations across Marketing, Sales Ops, IT, and Data Governance
  • Natural comfort with routine, structure, and the consistency of the database and operational work
  • Experience leading collaboratively: working independently, documenting what you build, and bringing a team along with you
