ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will contribute to building high‑quality speech AI solutions by annotating and transcribing Uzbek language data used to train and validate models. You will work with structured datasets and clear linguistic guidelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency that directly impact model performance and reliability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Annotate and label Uzbek audio and text datasets in line with defined linguistic and quality guidelines to support speech AI model training
- Own the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of annotations, contributing to reliable training, validation, and test datasets
- Collaborate with project teams and data specialists to clarify requirements, align on standards, and improve annotation workflows
- Perform high‑quality transcription and linguistic annotation for Uzbek language audio and text data
- Review, validate, and cross‑check annotated data to identify inconsistencies or errors
- Document and provide structured feedback on ambiguous cases, edge scenarios, or unclear guidelines
- Apply established quality standards when working with golden or reference datasets
- Continuously follow and adapt to updated annotation rules, tools, and processes
REQUIREMENTS
- Native or near‑native proficiency in Uzbek with strong written and listening skills
- Experience in data annotation, transcription, or linguistic work, preferably with language datasets
- Ability to accurately follow detailed guidelines and work with structured data formats or similar schemas
- Familiarity with audio annotation or transcription tools, or readiness to learn new platforms
- Basic understanding of how annotated data is used in AI systems, such as speech recognition or text models
- Strong attention to detail and consistency across repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet agreed deadlines
- Clear written communication skills for documenting issues and feedback
