ABOUT THE ROLE

As Client Outcomes Director, you will serve as the senior strategic partner for SoftServe's largest and most complex client accounts — owning relationships at the executive level, driving portfolio growth, and ensuring the highest quality of outcomes across all engagements. You will lead at the intersection of client strategy and delivery excellence, orchestrating internal teams and external stakeholders to unlock long-term value. This is a senior leadership role with impact across both people and business dimensions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own executive-level client relationships across a portfolio of large, complex accounts — acting as the ultimate point of contact, trusted advisor, and internal advocate to ensure services consistently deliver strategic value.
  • Drive portfolio growth by identifying expansion opportunities, building account development plans, and championing deal pursuit from pipeline through contract signature
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across sales, pre-sales, and delivery — serving as deal champion and ensuring a unified, client-centric approach at every engagement stage
  • Oversee delivery health across projects and programs, managing risk, removing escalation blockers, and ensuring contractual and quality standards are met
  • Establish structured expectation management and escalation resolution processes — from concern identification through transparent communication to full resolution
  • Build high-performing teams through hiring, coaching, stretch assignments, and a culture of accountability aligned with SoftServe values
  • Translate market, financial, and client insights into strategic account plans — identifying growth opportunities and continuously improving delivery performance and profitability

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years in senior client-facing IT roles with a strong focus on strategic account management, service delivery, and C-level engagement
  • 3+ years leading large, complex account portfolios with proven revenue growth, high client satisfaction, and long-term retention
  • Deep expertise in program and portfolio management, including governance, risk, and cross-organizational delivery oversight
  • Proven ability to drive business development from opportunity identification through deal closure
  • Experience in global delivery models, managing distributed, multi-geography teams
  • Advanced English proficiency with executive-level verbal, written, and presentation skills across technical and business audiences
  • Demonstrated success building and developing teams — hiring diverse talent, coaching for growth, and leading through change and complexity
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate client needs into actionable, value-driven growth plans
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; MBA strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
