ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will act as a senior pre-sales and solution architecture leader within SoftServe’s Big Data & Analytics Center of Excellence, bridging business strategy with technical execution. You will shape, design, and sell cloud-based data and analytics solutions primarily on AWS while serving as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients.
This is a US-based role with an anticipated base salary range of $120,000–$180,000 annually.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a trusted technical and strategic advisor during pre-sales engagements for Big Data & Analytics initiatives
- Design and shape AWS-based data and analytics solutions aligned with business objectives and measurable ROI
- Lead pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions, client workshops, architecture design, and executive-level presentations
- Develop strategic sales plans for analytics modernization and digital transformation initiatives
- Bridge Sales and Delivery teams by scoping, estimating, and defining data engagements end-to-end
- Build compelling proposals, RFP responses, and phased transformation roadmaps
- Translate complex technical architectures into clear, business-oriented narratives for non-technical stakeholders
- Identify client challenges and map them to appropriate AWS data, analytics, and cloud services
- Collaborate with delivery, engineering, and architecture teams to validate proposed solutions
- Build and expand long-term client and partner relationships through consultative engagement and thought leadership
- Analyze market trends and contribute to go-to-market strategies within the AWS ecosystem
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution architecture, or consulting for data and analytics solutions
- Strong expertise in cloud-based Big Data & Analytics architectures, with AWS as the primary platform
- Experience designing scalable, future-ready solutions using architectural methodologies such as Attribute-Driven Design (ADD)
- Proven ability to lead client workshops, discovery sessions, and executive presentations
- Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics modernization, and AI-ready data foundations
- Consultative mindset with strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to define phased, value-driven transformation roadmaps across industries
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Relevant cloud or data certifications (AWS preferred) are a plus
