ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will help design and deliver scalable Data & Analytics solutions on AWS while advancing your expertise in Data Architecture alongside experienced architects. You will combine strong technical leadership skills with hands-on engineering experience to shape modern data platforms, support architectural decisions, and guide projects from discovery and solution design through production implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and support the implementation of scalable data platforms and data processing solutions using AWS services to enable reliable and high-performing analytics ecosystems
- Drive the development of data architectures, pipelines, and processing frameworks that improve scalability, data quality, and operational efficiency across batch and streaming workloads
- Collaborate closely with customers, stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions and delivery plans
- Contribute to architectural discussions, solution design activities, and technology evaluations, supporting the selection of effective data technologies and patterns
- Build, optimize, and maintain data processing solutions using technologies such as Apache Spark, Databricks, and Flink for large-scale analytical workloads
- Guide engineering teams by promoting data engineering best practices, supporting technical decision-making, and ensuring successful solution delivery
- Implement and manage orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow or MWAA while leveraging modern data warehousing technologies such as Snowflake and Amazon Redshift
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical designs, implementation guidelines, and support project execution from PoCs and MVPs through full production deployment
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Data Tech Lead with hands-on expertise in designing scalable data platforms and data processing solutions on AWS
- Strong knowledge of batch and streaming data processing architectures and best practices for modern data ecosystems
- Practical experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or Flink
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, preferably Python, as well as Scala or Java
- Experience working with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or MWAA and modern data warehousing solutions including Snowflake and Amazon Redshift
- Proficiency in transforming business requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation roadmaps
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams
- Growth mindset and strong interest in developing into a Data Architecture role while supporting technical excellence and delivery success
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of English
