Together with the client, we are working on intelligent data-driven systems that help companies proactively manage risk and ensure business continuity. Our collaboration focuses on scalable data engineering solutions to support large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment.
IF YOU ARE
- Experienced with 5+ years in data engineering practice
- Proficient with PySpark for big data processing
- Confident using Python for data-related development
- Advanced in writing complex and efficient SQL queries
- Skilled in Azure and Databricks environments (would be a plus)
- Focused on data modeling and building AI-supported data pipelines
- Prepared to handle large-scale datasets and utilize Big Data tools
- Competent in performing web scraping tasks
- Fluent in English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
- Familiar with reading and modifying Java code (would be a plus)
AND YOU WANT TO
- Automate and scale the existing name normalization proof of concept
- Build and support infrastructure around the solution
- Create a data store for reference and integrate it with external systems for validated names
- Work on enriching metadata and ensuring sufficient process performance
- Handle large datasets (up to 1,000,000 records) and integrate the solution into the onboarding flow for future normalization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to iterate on the proof of concept, expand features, and ensure scalability and performance
- Influence the direction of the process and contribute with your technical ideas and solutions
