Our client, a leader in North America’s energy sector, generates, transmits, and distributes electric power through advanced wind, solar, nuclear, and natural gas-fired facilities. They are dedicated to sustainable energy solutions and also offer comprehensive risk management services related to power and gas consumption.

Together with our client, we are expanding the AI and Data Project Team, focusing on innovative solutions in the energy and logistics domain. This ambitious project involves a growing team of over 20 experts, aiming to double by year-end in Poland.

IF YOU ARE

• Possessing strong Python and software engineering expertise
• Familiar with RAG systems, LLMs, AI agents, and relevant testing methodologies
• Knowledgeable about various LLMs available in the market, including their capabilities and limitations
• Experienced with the LangChain library
• Proficient in Docker, Docker Compose, and CI/CD processes
• Having basic AWS knowledge, particularly with ECS
• Skilled in supporting project managers with technical insights for risk management, project planning, and execution
• Committed to promoting high engineering standards through rigorous PR reviews, proper testing, and high-quality coding practices
• Experienced in reviewing pull requests (PRs) and ensuring code quality
• Proficient in acting as the technical representative to clients, resolving conflicts, and driving improvement initiatives to management and product owners
• Skilled in translating technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and effectively communicating with diverse teams (developers, product owners, managers, designers, scrum masters)
• Focused on understanding business needs, creating, and managing the product backlog

AND YOU WANT TO

• Develop features for our enterprise software solution using Python
• Integrate the product with multiple digital channels and systems
• Design, code, test, and debug technical solutions, including complex components, in compliance with the defined engineering standards
• Elevate the quality of our software by fine-tuning the existing codebase through refactoring and unit testing
• Enhance the accessibility of our software by creating comprehensive technical documentation for internal usage
• Perform peer design and code reviews and provide feedback on areas that need improvement
• Ensure an organic product evolution in cooperation with the cross-functional team (BA, QA, DEV, PM)
• Attend and contribute to Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, planning, retros, etc.
• Lead significant decisions related to backend and AI implementations
• Ensure proper handling and resolution of backend/AI-related bugs
• Proactively identify and address weaknesses in the technical solutions
