Workday People Systems Analyst

About the role

In this role, you will play a key role in shaping and supporting global Total Rewards programs through Workday, driving digital transformation, process automation, and employee experience improvements across multiple countries and business functions. You will join our high-performing People Systems team as a Senior Workday Systems Analyst, specializing in compensation and benefits administration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of Workday Compensation and Benefits modules
  • Manage Workday feature releases related to Compensation and Benefits, including deployment and rollout activities
  • Maintain and update the Job Catalog, including mass updates through EIBs
  • Support salary survey submissions and collaborate with external compensation benchmarking providers
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of pay equity solutions, including automated modeling and compliance reporting
  • Investigate and resolve Workday system issues, integrations, and data discrepancies
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations aligned with company policies and compliance standards
  • Manage changes following formal governance and documentation processes
  • Partner with HR Operations and Payroll teams to maintain data integrity through audits and issue resolution
  • Build and support mass data upload processes using EIBs
  • Respond to and resolve Workday support tickets promptly
  • Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous process improvements
  • Support additional People Systems initiatives as required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on Workday experience with strong expertise in Core HCM, Business Processes, and Security configuration
  • 2+ years of configuration experience within Workday Advanced Compensation and Benefits modules
  • Experience supporting compensation and benefits programs within global, multi-currency organisations
  • Advanced reporting skills, including Custom Reports, Matrix Reports, and Calculated Fields
  • Experience with dashboards and worksheets is an advantage
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis, auditing, and EIB processing
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations, such as GDPR, and their impact on system security design
  • Experience supporting Workday in a fast-paced, high-growth international organisation is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken, with strong presentation and communication skills
