ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will drive test automation for a three-tier web platform in the healthcare domain, helping improve product quality, reliability, and delivery speed. You will work with modern tools and collaborate daily with a US-based client and a supportive engineering team, contributing your expertise to solutions that optimize blood and plasma management across medical institutions
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and scale automated test solutions using Playwright and TypeScript to improve coverage, stability, and execution speed
- Own end-to-end automation strategy and execution, ensuring measurable quality improvements and efficient defect detection
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product stakeholders to align testing efforts with business and technical goals
- Create and maintain UI, API, and integration automated tests to validate complex system workflows
- Enhance test infrastructure, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and cloud-based execution
- Analyze test failures, debug automation issues, and provide clear, actionable defect reports
- Track, measure, and report automation effectiveness using key quality metrics
- Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, contributing to planning, test design, and validation activities
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript
- Experience creating UI, API, and integration tests, including REST API validation and testing approaches
- Strong knowledge of database testing, including MS SQL
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based test execution environments
- Understanding of debugging practices and test failure analysis
- Self-driven mindset with strong ownership of tasks and outcomes
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams
- Upper-intermediate or higher English level for daily interaction with international clients
