ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will take ownership of quality across a critical consumer experience, helping ensure reliable releases through advanced test automation, robust quality practices, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will be part of a team building cloud-based construction software used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide to manage complex construction projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the quality strategy and execution for the primary consumer search experience, ensuring reliable and high-performing product releases
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks that improve test coverage, efficiency, and product quality
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to align testing efforts with business and user needs
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies based on functional and technical requirements
- Perform end-to-end, functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and black-box testing to validate product functionality and system stability
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues within automated test frameworks and test suites to support continuous delivery
- Analyze test outcomes, investigate defects, and provide actionable feedback to development teams for timely resolution
- Contribute to quality engineering excellence by introducing, maintaining, and optimizing testing tools, practices, and automation processes
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of professional experience in software test automation and quality engineering
- Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using technologies such as JUnit, H2, Mockito, and related testing tools
- Solid knowledge of testing REST APIs, gRPC services, messaging queues, and distributed systems
- Experience creating and executing tests across multiple layers of the testing pyramid
- Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices and tooling within fast-paced development environments
- Practical knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and SQL-based systems
- Experience working with quality management and analysis tools such as SonarQube and TestRail
- Possibility to translate stakeholder requirements into effective testing approaches and validation strategies
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with emerging testing trends and best practices
