About the Role
Become part of a growing Quality Engineering team focused on ensuring the quality of a portfolio of cloud-based products. In this role, you will build and extend automated test coverage across UI, API, and integration layers while contributing to the continuous improvement of test automation practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated tests (E2E, API, integration) using Playwright and/or Cypress, applying object-oriented or functional test design patterns
- Contribute to AI-enabled quality engineering, including prompt-quality checks and early production rollout of AI-assisted test capabilities
- Configure and maintain CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins), including parallel execution and handling of flaky tests
- Test RESTful APIs, validate JSON payloads, and verify HTTP status/error handling
- Maintain test case management and execution reporting in tools such as Xray for Jira
- Follow Git branching strategies and pull request workflows; participate in code reviews of both test and developer code
- Collaborate with developers and QA leads to extend shared automation libraries and coding standards
- Apply Java/RestAssured or Jest/Pytest as needed depending on the testing layer
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in software test engineering, automation, or software development
- Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript (or Java/Python), with hands-on experience building object-oriented or functional test frameworks
- Hands-on exposure to building or supporting AI agents/skills as part of AI-enabled quality engineering
- Hands-on experience with modern E2E frameworks - Playwright and/or Cypress
- Experience configuring GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins for parallel test execution
- Solid experience testing RESTful APIs, JSON payloads, and HTTP status handling
- Proficient with Git branching strategies, pull request workflows, and code review practices
- Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English
- Familiarity with the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Forge apps, Connect iframes)
- Experience with Xray for Jira integration via REST APIs or CI plugins
- Exposure to Docker containerization and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
