ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will design and develop advanced robotics solutions for industrial automation, focusing on robotic arms, humanoid systems, and next-generation robotic platforms. As part of the Industrial Robotics & Automation (IRaA) team within SoftServe Robotics Group, you will contribute to solving complex automation challenges, improving precision, productivity, and efficiency in industrial environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop industrial robotics solutions, including robotic arms, humanoid and legged robots
- Implement motion planning, trajectory optimization, kinematics, and control systems
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and control systems into complete robotic solutions
- Develop and maintain software components using C++ and Python in Linux environments
- Work with ROS, MoveIt2, and Gazebo for system development and testing
- Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability through testing and CI/CD practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design and integration
- Conduct research on emerging trends and technologies in industrial robotics
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and solutions
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and solid mathematical foundation
- Experience in motion planning, trajectory optimization, kinematics, dynamics, and control
- Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and robotics system integration in industrial applications
- Proficiency in C++, Python, and Linux
- Practical experience with ROS, MoveIt2, and Gazebo
- Familiarity with software engineering tools (Git, CMake, Make, GDB, CI/CD, testing frameworks)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim (nice to have)
