ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Networking Engineer, you will join a team focused on improving AI capabilities across Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Security, and Collaboration domains. In this role, you will apply deep troubleshooting expertise and hands-on operational experience to validate diagnostic workflows, assess remediation recommendations, and build high-quality datasets that support accurate root cause identification and resolution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review network incidents, diagnostic outputs, and operational datasets to validate root cause analysis and ensure remediation recommendations are accurate and actionable
- Drive the quality of AI-assisted troubleshooting workflows by evaluating technical recommendations, identifying gaps, and improving diagnostic effectiveness across enterprise networking environments
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, engineers, and project managers to incorporate networking expertise into model training, evaluation, and continuous improvement
- Curate realistic networking scenarios and expert-verified training examples covering routing, switching, wireless LAN, VPN, security, and observability platforms
- Author annotated datasets with detailed troubleshooting guidance, remediation procedures, risk analysis, and operational impact assessments
- Validate the technical accuracy, completeness, and practical applicability of AI-generated resolutions for complex networking incidents
- Use RESTful APIs, Python, and GenAI or agentic coding tools to collect, analyze, transform, and document diagnostic data for model development and evaluation
- Provide structured feedback on annotation standards, validation methodologies, and evaluation frameworks to improve dataset quality and model performance
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking with strong expertise in Cisco routing, switching, and wireless technologies
- Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and solutions including OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, 802.1X, Cisco ISE, and enterprise LAN/WLAN environments
- Expert-level proficiency with Cisco CLI, including troubleshooting, diagnostic, show, and debug commands
- Practical experience with Splunk, including SPL, data onboarding, add-on development, or comparable observability and log analysis platforms
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, network automation, and scripting using Python
- Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center, Meraki, ThousandEyes, Nexus Dashboard, ACI, or similar SaaS-managed networking platforms is an advantage
- Strong technical documentation skills with experience creating recommendations, Methods of Procedure, and impact assessments
- Proven root cause analysis capabilities in complex production environments, including escalation or on-call support experience
- Strong communication, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills with Upper-Intermediate English proficiency
