ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a cross-functional team developing a core module within a mature healthcare SaaS ecosystem used by medical practices and patients across the United States. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own end-to-end delivery of full-stack features, contribute to modernization initiatives across legacy and modern technologies, and help build secure, HIPAA-compliant solutions that support critical healthcare workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and deliver full-stack functionality across .NET, Angular, Azure services, and supporting integrations, ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements
- Own features from requirements clarification through implementation, testing, release, and post-release support, driving measurable product and user impact
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, Designers, Team Leads, and Senior Engineers to validate requirements, address risks, and align on implementation approaches
- Analyze initiatives that span multiple applications, services, Angular generations, backend components, and Azure Functions, identifying dependencies and documenting technical decisions
- Review, maintain, and enhance code across both modern and legacy systems, balancing delivery needs with long-term modernization goals
- Investigate production incidents using monitoring, logging, and observability tools, determine root causes, and drive effective resolutions
- Apply security, compliance, auditability, and data protection best practices, ensuring responsible handling of PHI and adherence to HIPAA requirements
- Utilize GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development tools throughout the delivery lifecycle while maintaining full ownership and accountability for code quality, testing, and documentation
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong commercial experience with .NET 8+, C#, REST APIs, SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, and distributed application development
- Solid expertise in Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, HTML, SCSS, NgRx, and Angular Signals, with the ability to deliver frontend features independently
- Practical experience working with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault, and Azure App Configuration
- Familiarity with legacy environments such as .NET Framework and AngularJS, including support, enhancement, and migration activities
- Hands-on experience with unit testing, integration testing, xUnit, Jest, Jasmine, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, and troubleshooting practices using tools such as Datadog and product analytics platforms
- Ability to manage work independently, proactively drive tasks to completion, and raise risks, gaps, or assumptions early
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a business-focused, solution-oriented mindset
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and operate successfully within evolving requirements
