ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available cloud solutions while driving automation, operational excellence, and the adoption of modern DevOps and cloud engineering practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, resilient, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure that supports business-critical applications and services across multiple environments.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to enable reliable, repeatable, and efficient software delivery while reducing manual effort.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools to standardize provisioning, ensure consistency, and simplify infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Design, deploy, and operate containerized platforms using Kubernetes (AKS), improving scalability, availability, and application performance.
- Enhance platform reliability, security, scalability, and operational excellence by implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and proactive performance optimization practices.
- Support incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement to minimize downtime and prevent recurring issues.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, security specialists, and product teams to design cloud-native solutions, contribute to technical architecture discussions, optimize cloud costs, establish governance standards, and promote DevOps and operational best practices across the organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, containerized workloads, and cloud-native architectures
- Strong understanding of Azure networking, identity and access management, cloud security principles, governance practices, secrets management, and secure software delivery.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions, with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and reliability issues across distributed systems.
- Experience automating operational tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Experience collaborating with software engineers, architects, security teams, and other stakeholders to deliver scalable platform solutions
