  • Strong hands-on experience operating AWS EKS in production
  • Proven experience managing large-scale Kubernetes/EKS environments, ideally with many clusters, multiple regions, or thousands of nodes
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes operations, including scheduling, autoscaling, networking, node lifecycle, workload troubleshooting, and cluster upgrades
  • Experience with EKS upgrade processes, AMI/node updates, vulnerability remediation, and production change management
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting EKS/Kubernetes issues in real production environments
  • Strong understanding of AWS services relevant to EKS, including IAM, VPC, security groups, load balancing, EBS/EFS, CloudWatch, and networking
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, Crossplane, or similar
