Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (AI)

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will design and deliver AI-driven cybersecurity solutions that strengthen threat detection and protection across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You will work with engineering and architecture teams to secure complex systems and contribute to evolving security architecture practices. This position supports growth into Security Architect and AI Security Architect roles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement AI-driven security solutions to protect infrastructure, applications, and data while improving threat detection and response capabilities
• Own the optimization of security controls across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments to reduce risk and enhance resilience
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and cross-functional teams to embed security and AI protections into system design and delivery
• Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and define mitigation strategies
• Implement AI-enabled monitoring, detection, and response capabilities to support proactive security operations
• Assess vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and applications, providing actionable remediation recommendations
• Support security audits, penetration testing, and compliance activities to ensure continuous improvement
• Document security architectures, standards, and best practices, and present solutions during client discussions

REQUIREMENTS

• Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies such as SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and vulnerability management platforms
• Strong knowledge of cloud security across AWS, Azure, or GCP and experience securing hybrid environments
• Understanding of AI, machine learning, and data analytics applied to cybersecurity use cases
• Experience with threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, and risk management practices
• Knowledge of security architecture, secure design principles, and conducting threat modeling or security reviews
• Scripting or programming experience with Python, PowerShell, Java, or C++ is an advantage
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, GCIH, CEH, AWS Security Specialty, SC-200, or SC-100 are a plus
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex incidents
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills with English at B2 level or higher
