ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will develop software solutions for robotics and Physical AI, designing digital twins, simulations, and autonomous systems for real-world applications. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, production-ready solutions for intelligent outdoor vehicles.
This is a US-based role with an anticipated base salary range of $177,000–$240,000 annually.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop software solutions for robotics and Physical AI applications
- Build digital twins and physics-based simulations for autonomous and industrial systems
- Develop rapid prototypes and production-ready robotics solutions
- Design and optimize control algorithms, motion planning, sensing, and decision-making systems
- Develop and test robotics software in both simulation and real-world environments
- Model continuous, discrete, and event-driven systems
- Research and implement modern robotics technologies and optimization techniques
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions
- Lead process modeling, system optimization, and technical initiatives
REQUIREMENTS
- 6+ years of software development experience with expertise in C++, Python, or Julia
- Strong experience developing system-level software and real-time systems
- Proficiency in system modeling and simulation using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Mathematica, Modelica, Ansys, or OpenFOAM
- Hands-on experience with physics-based simulation platforms such as Gazebo, NVIDIA Isaac, or V-REP
- Strong understanding of numerical methods, concurrent programming, and component-oriented software design
- Demonstrated ability to design software architectures and implement complex algorithms
- Knowledge of control theory, estimation, optimization, and robotics systems
- Experience with distributed control systems and Unix/Linux environments
- Familiarity with software testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
