About the role
In this role, you will lead the delivery of digital initiatives focused on operations and maintenance for a global energy leader, driving the adoption of data-driven solutions, predictive analytics, and modern technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution, optimize asset performance, and support the client's sustainability and innovation goals in a fast-paced international environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, budget, and quality expectations
- Manage distributed cross-functional teams (20+ engineers) across multiple workstreams
- Drive project planning, estimation, risk management, and reporting, ensuring transparency and predictability
- Align engineering delivery with business objectives, ensuring stakeholder needs are met
- Collaborate closely with Architects to ensure compliance with architectural guidelines and engineering standards
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across engineering, data, and business teams
- Monitor and improve delivery performance metrics and KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Act as an escalation point for project and technical challenges, ensuring timely resolution
- Ensure adherence to security, data privacy, and compliance standards throughout delivery
- Contribute to budget planning and resource forecasting, ensuring efficient and cost-effective execution
- Support process optimization and operational excellence across delivery practices
- Mentor team members, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and growth-oriented environment
- Ensure proper data management and project closure processes, including compliance with data protection policies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, including ownership of full SDLC delivery
- Proven track record managing complex IT projects and distributed teams (20+ people)
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies (4+ years), with the ability to apply hybrid approaches
- Solid understanding of engineering processes, architecture collaboration, and delivery governance
- Experience aligning technical execution with business goals in enterprise environments
- Familiarity with data-driven solutions, predictive analytics, and modern technologies (AI/ML is a plus)
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience in risk management, estimation, budgeting, and resource planning
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
- Understanding of security, compliance, and data protection practices
- Experience working with enterprise clients in complex domains (energy industry is a plus)
- Upper-Intermediate+ level of English
- Willingness to travel (~25%)
